Transformative Experiential Therapy

What is Tranformative Experiential Therapy?
Transformative Experiential Therapy (TET) takes the aspects of various therapeutic models along with theatre training to create an interactive and immersive experience in therapy. TET does not require any background, skill, or experience in therapy nor in theatre. It borrows from specific exercises and games to create a lived-in experience. TET is therapy that allows the participant to explore how they’ve developed the story of themselves so that story might be rediscovered, rewritten, reimagined.

How does Transformative Experiential Therapy work?
TET employs the oldest form of storytelling as its main component of therapy so more can be brought to light. Through the application of story, the participant will be able to experience situations and/or themselves in a new way. Specialized exercises allow the participant to see old patterns that keep getting in their way. This process provides the space for the participant to figure out whatever they need to figure out, and what to do from there.

So is this a group or what?
Yes, TET is done in a group setting. It helps to have a supportive cast to work with and off of. Attachment-based therapy tells us healing is done in connection; this process has that support and connection built-in. Come unlock more of you by being a part of something unique for you.
(Note: Individual sessions are available outside of group, though are intended to be in conjunction with group as to aid/augment/amplify what is being uncovered in this process.)
